This Blog would not be even close to complete without a very special tribute to MacGyver (Ken); my hiking partner, my brother....my friend. It would have been unthinkable to tackle something like the AT without him. His enthusiasm, ecouragement, excitment and motivation was my motivation for doing this and pushing thru the challenges we faced at times. Always there to offer advice, hear advice,  bounce ideas off, brainstorm a rather tricky situation and physically help each other up and down each and every mountain...and even share our food and water...like we did when we were kids :). I literally trusted Ken with my life on this trail and he did the same with me. MacGyver, I love you Bro and thanks for the memories of this memorable adventure. Lets start planning the next section!!
