Climbing an iron ladder!

What a clear path on the trail??

What a sqweeze for MacGyver!

Really??

MacGyver is thinking....piece of cake.

A little close to the edge?

If you look REAL CLOSE (or use your imagination), you can see the New York City Skyline in the distance (middle of the photo).

An interesting "Blazing" strategy we discovered was "Ice Cream Blazing" making sure to stop at the best ice cream joints on the AT.....and sadly we started this too last because there were soooo many Ice Cream stops in prior states.....but better late than never!

We did indeed LOVE the ice cream!

Another Blazing phenomena we discovered was "Deli Blazing" thru NY and parts of NJ. And we loved it!!

What a deli meal!

Shuttling to pick up our resupply packages.

1,400 mile marker!!

Heaed for Bear Mountain in the Distance.

Great view of the Hudson River crossing the Bear Mountain Bridge

Nice place to rest on top of a mountain!

Well....we saw our first ferocious bear in New York.....but......it didn't look "exactly" like this one! see below:

The AT goes right thru this zoo.

Vicious vultures also!

We may be lost!

Thought this was a joke but read the bulletin......Profound.

Painted 911 Memorial Flag on the top of Shenandoah Mountain

Big Ass Tree!

Nice stealth site we found!

Can't beat those smiles can you! Maybe because we are picking up our next re-supply in Pawling, NY.....AND..... staying in a real bed at the Station Inn B&B!!

ANOTHER MILESTONE TODAY!!

VERY COOL BOARD WALK WITH SOME GREAT VIEWS OF A MOUNTAIN WE WILL CLIMB SOON.

Right before the NY/CT border we came across some NY cows guarding that border....but they let us pass!

Okay.....so I think this woods is haunted by tree goblins.....
